(Synopsis)
In 19th century France, a girl named Perrine travels with her family to search for her grandfather. Perrine has to overcome many hardships, losing her father in Bosnia and then her mother to illness.
She finally finds her grandfather-blind and lonely-living in a castle-like mansion, but the girl is unable to make him realize who she is.
