Determined to discover if the man whose life she insured is really dead, Lucy, an insurance investigator, travels to New Guinea -- where he disappeared -- with his daughter, Eko, a kung-fu movie actress. The two women, aided by Lung Fei, an able martial artist they meet along the way, brave warring aboriginal clans, treasure-hunting mercenary scoundrels, animal attacks, and other deadly perils of the jungle.
