(Synopsis)
The story is about a man named Jubei, and he is a wandering Swordsman who will take pay for his expert samurai skills. But when his long, lost, decapitated arch nemesis, Himuro Gemma, attacks a young group of Ninjas in the form of "The Devils of Kimon", Kagero (a female ninja), is the only survivor.
Jubei (who is subsequently poisoned by Dakuan), Kagero, and an old wise man named Dakuan who can turn into shrubery, are thrust into a web of death, doom, and destruction! The only way Jubei can lift his curse is to find a source that will counter-act it. Meanwhile, he must also defeat Himuro Gemma!
