(Synopsis)
Set in China, in the middle of the cultural revolutioin in the early 1970s, in a small village where the intellectuals are "re-educated" by the peasants. A boy sent to a Maoist "rehabilitation" camp in the mountains falls in love with the village tailor's granddaughter.
