(Synopsis)
Hellsing isn't your typical horror series. The creators and animators integrate a Gothic style and plot into a modern-day scenario to create Hellsing. Hellsing is essentially an institution in Great Britain. The institution goes way back in Europe's History, as it's been eradicating vampires for centuries. The plot revolves around two characters - Alucard and Victoria Celes, both of whom are vampires, which is one of the more ironic twists in this series.
The woman running the entire operation of Hellsing Institution is Sir Integral Wingates Hellsing (she was Knighted). With her strict chain of command, Hellsing locates where vampires are prevalent, and like an Top-Secret Anti-Terrorism squad, they strike with opposing force, leaving no trace of themselves to be exposed to the Multimedia (or the vampires for that matter).
