(Synopsis)
Thirteen years have passed since the end of the great war between the Earth Federation and the Principality of Zeon, but the old rivalry between Amuro Ray and Char Aznable has never been stronger. A new threat towards the Earth Federation, known as Neo-Zeon, has plans to send Earth into a nuclear winter by sending asteroids to its surface. They are led by none other than Char Aznable, who now pilots a state of the art mobile suit called the Sazabi. Driven by the corruption that plagues the Earth Federation's government and his hate for Amuro, Char will stop at nothing to see the Earth become a giant wasteland. They only thing that stands between him and the utter destruction Earth is the Londo Bell taskforce and Amuro Ray, now pilot of the recently developed Nu-Gundam. Yoshiyuki Tomino's Mobile Suit Gundam Saga comes to its end with this epic story between long life rivals. "The greatest battle in Gundam history has begun."
