(Synopsis) Set in the USA in the 1930s, Chan must fight in a contest at Battle Creek in order to free his brother's fiancee who has been kidnapped by a mob. This is Jackie's first attempt at breaking into the American market. It's an interesting melding of martial arts and gangster genres with a good deal of humor and a strong cast. Jackie is graceful and witty, and the choreography is creative and well executed. Those who enjoy kung fu with a sense of humor will enojoy this film. However, if you're looking for a great plot, this isn't your movie.
