(Synopsis) A-1 takes on the Hong Kong media, where getting to the truth behind a news story can prove dangerous and difficult, and exposes other stories that people in power would rather see buried for good! Ling (Angelica Lee) works as a fashion and trend reporter in a paper, whose boyfriend died in a car accident a day after their breakup. Anthony Wong and Eric Kok play debt collectors after Ling, but begin to help her seek the suspicious death of her boyfriend. At the same time, Ling's editor-in-chief (Tony Leung Ka Fai) begins to act strangely, insisting that Ling drop the investigation. At the same time, Ling realizes that her boyfriend was investigating a case right before his death involving a millionaire's son, who is on the verge of acquiring the newspaper she is working at. Is her boyfriend murdered and is her editor trying to suppress the truth?
